Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (M.R.T. – line 6) :

A fast-track priority initiative of the Government of Bangladesh is being used to develop the M.R.T. Line 6, an elevated Metro Rail line, in Dhaka. As soon as it is operational, M.R.T. Line-6 will connect Moti-jheel and Uttara, passing through 16 stations. The Government of Bangladesh and the Japan International Cooperation Agency are both contributing to the project’s funding (J.I.C.A.). The government’s Strategic Transport Plan (S.T.P.), which spans 20 years, includes M.R.T. Line-6.
